hi there, i like the idea of your invite a friend thingy-ma-jig... but i have a question, say for example i invite my girlfriend... she accepts.. downloads the free 7 day trial account etc... i then buy the disks, will i be able to register those disks to that account? so she can access TOA and SI etc.. the reason i ask is because the disks have already been orderd but i could use this extra day or two to powerlevel her up a bit... is all the options in place so if we go ahead tonight and download it, i can then upgrade her 2morrow or the day after?
Sorry if im being thick but some companies put limits on the 7 day free accounts they give out.

blech pl ;) let her play the game :p learning at level 1 is a lot less painful than learning at level 20 or 50. And it's quite fun :p

does the 7 day free trial not just require you to start subscribing rather than buying a cd key?

for ToA and SI you'll need to buy the boxes though (or a combo case that lets you use the key a few times)

starting at level 1 sucks, practially no one to group with, while at 20 you can usually find plenty of groups, seen it with alot of friends who tried daoc...

lets be honest: like the game is SO hard to learn that you have to start at level 1.... ;p

I'll have to check tomorrow so don't do anything until I get back to you but I think the trial account is exactly the same as a normal account, so yes you should be able to activate the expansions. The account is just the same as one you'd get if you bought the game in a shop, it just has 7 days free instead of 30.

Again, DON'T activate anything until I've got back to you. :)

fair enough, pl away :)

on the level 20 thing - if they're an experienced fps/rpg player maybe ;)

if they're new to this whole rpg lark then level 1 is good :) compare rogue level 1 to minstrel level 20 :p

on a side note a friend has taken you up on this offer and has run into problems, he doesnt post on FH so im helping him out.

he got sent 2 different account names.. and the passwords arent being accepted... so he cant log in and cant play... yet youve taken his CC details so hes worried that hes gonna be charged even before he can play, i think your system has a few bugs... and this is bad for new customers..

So you have to give CC details just to get the 7days trial???
