After playing the game for 2 nights now and dabbling around - I though its about time I asked some questions, see what other people have found out


1) - How do you know where the shops are ? so you can sell your loot, ive spent ages wondering around looking for someone to sell loot too

2) Auctions... ok so this is in the manual and I will read it eventualy but any tips would help

3) Armor / Weapons Im now L6 and still using the armor and weap given when started, how can you tell when they need replacing and where can you get replacements from

Well those are my top 3 questions to answer this weekend

Well I spoke to a guy at the start and he told me where shops were and what the smbols ment on my map, for places like magic, armour, weapons...etc

Also I have a habit on clicking and takling to npc's and some of them want to sell you things or buy things off you. Just talk to all the np's you see and it seems the majority I have met have been vendors.

No idea about the other only about to hit lvl 4 and I have avoided the auction house, did speak to the guy outside and he gives you a few instructions about the auction place. I really should read the manual too...lol

Auction houses are like (from what ive read) a kinda Bazar like SWG. you put your item up on it with a minimum price etc. What i'm not sure is if its real time or not.

hehe I would like an answer to those questions as well Nxs, also one thing, the server I am on well, I have no idea which one it is lol. How can you tell what server your char is on?

Windhurst Ports on the docks the boats hold shops, have the only Weapon and Armour shops in Windhurst and you have to you use THE MAPS, on the maps there are huge symbols of a sword for weapons merchant and huge armour for you guessed it armour merchant but to be honest they sell low lvl crap best to use the auction house which of course leads me to question two

Ok best to use these for all your armour and weapon needs to be honest. The way they work is pretty simple you have bid and sell and sales status

Bids allows you to check all kinds of armours and weapons and such anything really. When you select it you get to choose what item u want then you get two options buy or price history buy allows you to put a bid in obviously and price history is the important one it allows you to check how much its been selling for best to put a bid near the common prices and after few seconds it will say if you were able to get the item easy

Selling is little more complicated, YOU CAN SELL ANYTHING, and when i say anything i mean all those silly little drops

When you go to sell you will get your inventory up and you then select what you wanna sell and hit enter then asks you about colour ignore that and hit enter again then set a sale price u can use the arrow keys to tap left to add more 0's and set the price to anything. I suggest you set most to 100 any goblin armour set to 400-600

Best thing to do is check what it sold for before in the bid section under price history

Now leave them once you have them up for sale its a real auction people buy things

When you come back you can check the sales status to check if anything sold if it did it will be yellow go to it select it and you will then see it sold and the money will be deposited in your mog house. Go collect and be merry

If anything didn't maybe no one wants it or its priced to high its like a real market people can under prices to sell quick but if they do it to long then prices can drop for items and vice versa its cool like that


3) Armor / Weapons Im now L6 and still using the armor and weap given when started, how can you tell when they need replacing and where can you get replacements from

Wait till lvl 7 to get armour and weapons as many new weapons are usable by lvl 7 so wait till then saving money

Same with lvl 10 saved from 7-10 and then 11-15 usually get summin new at each lvl

Thats the best advice I can give tbh

You can sell it at shops if ya like for lower prices

Just shows how lazy you are spathi

Oh and in DAoC I suppose you sold all your loot drops to merchants
