Sup,

Im new to online gaming and would like 2 play quake. i ahve quake 2 cd with me. i was wondering if i need 2 buy more cds if i wanted 2 play games like Quake 2: weapons factory etc. Can one of ya guys help me out? Thx

no, you dont

the slightly longer version - each mod installs as a sub-directory under the q2 install directory so its simply a download and unzip/install jobby

The BW ftp is proberbly the best place unless it's overloaded(only happens if new mod/patch has just come out).

To join a league, you must find a clan. You'll probebrly find most Q2 clans are `eliteist'. I don't know this, however when you get a game as old as Q2, you generally find the people that play it are really good, so hence you'd expect a yhigh standard in leagues.
