I am trying to set up a server thats available for european Quake 3 dreamcast players to enter. I want it to be non-dedicated.
i can set up the server but thedreamcast players cant see it.
i allready have the dc map pack.
so in short how do i make it so that EUROPEAN DC players can see my server.

Aren't Sega the only ppl that can run DCQ3 servers?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure only Sega can run servers that DC players can connect to. One thing you have to remember is that the DC version of q3 isn't even running 1.27 never mind 1.30 so you'd need to be backwards patched. Even then though I don't think you can do it.

Yup, to connect to a DC server, PC users must be running the 1.16n patch, and have the DC map pack installed.

Of course, connecting to a DC server using a PC with a 20 ping and 200 fps would be rather unfair and us honourable PC using types would never do such a thing. ;)

Heh, aye I did it once. Connected to a server in the states, so my ping was the same as theirs (150) to try and make it fair, and I played with my graphics exactly the same as the DC's.

I must've racked up 50 frags in about 2/3 mins, while the person in 2nd had 3.

DC controllers rock* for FPS games (well same can be said of most consoles).
