Just PvE until CoV is released which will be sometime next year. It is good fun for the most part despite the lack of PvP but constantly bashing mobs can get a bit dull even for me.

no PVP, nor would I think it'll work too well, since the classes aren't balanced for PVP at all...

Not sure why you would release a mmorpg without PvP these days =o woulda deff. got CoH if it had pvp, for an end game thing pvp >>>>>>> pve imo

It's kinda strange I came from DAoC where I totally loved the RvR.
And I thought that I never could play a game that didnt have an PvP endgame.

But CoH has made me change that, even though I long for City of Villains.
I never really go bored from the PvE in CoH.

I'll agree with Tharion here.

DAoC, for me, killed my enjoyment of many other mmorpgs. It's very difficult to escape from the "grind to level to get more powerful, repeat" mentality that DAoC prescribes. SWG was an excellent game but, alas, the evil DAoC psyche prevailed and ennuyé set in. Players who tried SWG as their first mmorpg absolutely adored it (and still do).

I'll admit to having a "what am I doing this for?" moment in CoH, somewhere in the first few days. Then I joined two wonderful groups with entertaining roleplaying and spectacular (and extremely tense) fights. Absolutely loving it now.

After playing DAoC since the EU beta (with UO before; EVE, EnB, SWG in between), CoH doesn't need PvP.

I just got CoH today! Any suggestions on what server I should start playing on? Could use some help to get started. ;)
