Do mids acctualy all create keep orientated classes for bgs (as alts) cos it damn well feels like it :p. Every single time a keep attempt is made you got Ground targets/hunter/pbae/aedot/aemezz/aestun etc, where as albs just make toons like hmm half ogre poler that would be fun. Just wondering, cos you cant move around thid without finding a shammy or 2 (cave spec ofc)

hunters, sm's, shammys, healers and runies :D

done them all in thid and had great time

(even got some of them higher :eek2: not as much fun at 50 though)

Fair enough, I can see how some can bu fun, tho aedot shammy seems kinda borring :<. It is obvious why there are more keep orientated classes in mid to alb(in thid) cos they as you said are more fun. For instance earth wiz (gtae) gotta be ZZzz :). Also seems when an attempt on the keep is made shed laods of mids log inside keep which is another reason for my "theory" that all mids have alts in thid for keep defence :p

they seem to like sticking one person and staying stuck, even after mez/stun/ae dot :D

Earthwiz quite fun tbh .. Bolt, Dot, Aeo Root, Aeo Snare Nuke ... Duo with Matter/mind Soc and you got an evil combo more than capable of takeing out a group of mids.

And tbh Alb seems to have just the same kinda classes in Thid as mids does ..
fully of Wizzes,Matter Cabbies,Socs, Scouts and the odd tank, only difference is no clerics (deleted my brition smite/rejuve gimp ;<)

Im quite happy playing a Cleric in BG, im never short of anything to do. My main problem is power but with all the Sorcerors around power regen is in abundance :D

what i have run around i have seen albs have in thidraki alott more casters what tanks.
example last nigh when albs attack ck there was ~80% casters, only few or 1! half ogre what i notice, ~3 scouts, allmost same ammount minsts, maybe less?.
what suprised me :) there was only 2-3 necro, usually near 40% albs is necros.

have some ss where those 2k range castable pets chase mids, and there was alott! new fotm class, or old? but hardly so many what these days.

what i have seen mids play, there is allways few hunters, ~20% is sb:s, near same ammount shammys, few healers, rm is quite popular race, bone isnt so usuall what peeps think but 2-3 usually.
i guess mids play quite much counter to albs, if there is alott alb casters, allso alott mid casters and so on.
thidraki tanks are quite many times useless but must in some situations.

The Mids play a fair mix of the BG friendly classes - last night in the CK we had a savage and various other non-keep defense classes.

The Albs do seem to favour casters heavily in the bg which has its advantages but does mean that the Hunters get a lot of kills plus at points like rushing through the outer keep door or rushing the lord you really need a few tanks - casters live about a second in those situations if the defenders are ready for em...

Charmed Goblin Crawler fully buffed with Damage Add, Damage Shield and haste (easy to get from all the caster's) = nice tank that wont break mezz, can hunt down stealthers, and with Mage Debuffs can chomp through most tanks. ;) and most importantly attacks what you tell it to

Those damn Goblins are the bane of my life in BG1, can you all not charm the soft druids instead? :)

I must admit I have an SB, Bonie and Healer in my BG stable and I play which ever is right for the occasion.

I played SM but he capped too quickly and I loved playing my Hunter whoem I took to 50.

If we are trying to take the keep I log in my Troll warrior for ram duty. He have 800+ hp and 24+5 shield and is easy for seers to target and heal when infs start to hit him :D

Other times I play my Hunter.

race?? dwarf is a race, runemaster is a class.... :p

:fluffle:

/edit, but the only reason we have any Gtae in thid is because runemasters get it in the same line as their bolts....
