Question to reavers :D

Just a question to all the reavers. What shield do you use, and why? I am aiming for 50 flex, 42 shield, 41 sr, rest parry (autotrained). Should I get a fast shield or a slow shield? I was thinking about the ML7 shield, but its a bit slow for slam etc...

Any advice would be much appreciated

ML7 Small
- Use if your a solo reaver and you don't care about capping stats.
- Nice heal proc.. bout it.
ML7 Large
- Use if your a group reaver and you don't care about capping stats.
- Looks good.. nice heal proc.
Dragon Buckler
- Use if you can fit it into template, best shield by far.
- Fast! very fast!
Dao Buckler
- Use if you ever actually get the chance to buy / win it.. which you won't.
- Very good dex/str caps.
MP Buckler
- Use if you have a brain and actually want a decent template.
- Can swap with medium/large shields with ease.
- Mantain cleric appearace.
Buffeting buckler
- Nice dex cap.



If you end up going for MP Buckler.. then this means you can buy a MP kite shield and draw that one out for the odd occasions when groups send you an invite.. which won't happen alot.

Fast PC'd buckler for fast, low-end slams. Helps a lot with SCing too.

Drop CB and drop MS.

CB charge is useless unless your fortunate enough to get groups.
MS is useless becuase its crap utility and the % damage bonus doesnt aid you as a reaver at all.


Get AT and group with L10 CS casters.

Only problem with the Large Magma shields is that it has +3 shield on it... which stops working when your shield hits 70% con. Bit iffy to pay 20 plat for a shield you'll probably bust up in 2 weeks.

So, yeah better go with a MP shield. Just don't put any +shield (or other + skill) on it
