Can you play 2 daoc accounts on the same PC after the patch?..
I cant load 2 daoc SI clients at the same time.. and daocx doesn't work any longer, so i cant use old daoc either (daoc without SI).

can anyone help me?..

i heard that if u copy SI folder, call it say SI_2 then start 1 client and let it roll, then click icon from new folder and start that client.

BINGO, but thats only what i heard

(u also need 2 put windowed=1 in both user.dat files)

as some one said make 2 folders of SI (1 called Shrouded Isles the other called <insert name here> ) and create 2 short cuts on ur desktop .

load up 1 client at a time and ther u go.

p.s u can use the windowed=1 in user.dat but u may aswell set it in the optoins with in daoc saves messing about but upto i suppose.

Ok.. I copied the folder, placed it above my games folder, made one shortcut from the regular SI folder and one shortcut from the new one.

I must have done something wrong..

I loaded 1 daoc but when i tried to load the second daoc it still keeps whining about my memory. This memory thing is bollox! i used to run 2 daoc accounts without any problems before the patch..

My scenario is..1 account DAoC+SI is in one folder and location
1 account DAoC..not SI in another account and loc
Both are 1.60
Used to work before with another program ( wink)

Ahh, afriad to tell you but i think the 2 clients thing only works with SI active accounts... i think, i'd run thought the patch notes to make sure though

Had the same problem with my buffbot after the patch, got it sorted tho.
Using classic and SI it runs ok for me.
To get it working i had to download a classic game.dll from a hax0r site which let me activate window mode like in SI, letting me set windowed=1 in my classic user.dat
