2h is good if you want to suicide without tickling your opponent too much ... or when you feel that the randomizer is in your favour.
Dualwielding cuts evade and block rates in half, so with 2h you just give away this advantage.
2h reduces the chance to parry of your opponent, but attacking a Merc or BM is pure suicide for a SB.
CD also lands too slow with a two-hander -> unless you have alot of haste stuff and a fast two-hander.
Besides, PA damage doesn't scale base on weaponspeed like normal styles does. Thus, the PA damage won't be so extreme as one might have thought.
I think Grymligast uses 2h alot atm
It can be ok to pa/cd low rr enemy's as high rr sb....think Aldo's last crit pa was 1500+ dam and he isnt critblade. Cylian is right tho....using 2h is suicide on infs or duelwiel tanks.
problem with the 'free' 2handed weapons in Midgard is, while Alb/Hib gain an extra % to style damage for speccing in a 2h line, Mids only gain the extra base damage because we don't have to spec for it. Style damage remains at the bottom.
PA and BS got special forumlas, like "<base damage> + 9 * <CS> + 75".
Means most of the damage is style damage... you'd be surprised how hard you can perf with a bronze dagger
