Question on Imp faction points and pets

I was running low on cash until I realised that a stormtrooper (with 8000hp!) cost me only 420 faction points!!!

OK, im thinking - i have 500 imp faction points atm.

Can i get a storm trooper pet yet ? And if so , where from?
Or do i have to be fully imp faction to get one (i.e. the little imp symbol next to my name) ?

Any info would be much appreciated, thx.

You have to declare your faction with the recruiter then you get the option to request presonal support.

Remember that these faction pets are perma death and can only be used when overt (like storm armour and imp uniforms). They also stop at various server boundrys and on rocks and trees

You need 420 (+200 to keep your imperial faction).
Only problem I have had with server lines has been around the bestine area on tat. Spend most of time in dantooine atm and is fine there, seems fine on all the others planets I've been to so far too.

the problem with imperial ' pets' is that you have to be overt .. that means constant pvp area ..
choose wisely what you do.. especially with item decay on death

Same, i always have problems with any kinds of pets around bestine.

Overt Imperial on tatooine aint exactly a problem when every bloody player dot you see is purple

... and the other night, Me and my Stormtrooper made my first PvP kill, I was so proud!

Was Kill tasking when I spotted a small imperial base taking damage. I approached to find two rebs finishing it off, so i check their damage and changed guns (One was nearly entirely out of action points, time for a leg shot )

"Theres Only one Imp" Reb 1 says.
"FOR THE EMPIRE!" yells I.

Well I killed the injured one in about two shots but the the other was still wiped out by my Stormtrooper 1st!

I actually felt guilty and apolagised when I DB them but Rebs must die, you know?

On Imperial pets.

The server boundaries can be a small problem but if you keep one eye on your radar, just tell them to follow when they start to lag behind. They cross the boundary fine then.

Just don't get too greedy, I got killed and lost both pets last night when I tried to take on a 7k credit mission. An easy way is too take a mission with one pet in your group and then add the second (or third) afterwards.

If you are a CH just get a big pet that makes a load of noise out along with your faction pets, either a malkloc or gulginaw will do no need to pay attention to your pets anymore, if the ground stops shaking or the gulginaw stops beating its wings loudly then you know that they have stopped following and so you tell them 'F' and then your off again.
