Question on Hibernia Casters

Hi, Ive been trying out casters of all 3 Realms lately,

But when it comes to Hibernia, i here people say, you won't get groups unless you can pbaoe,

I tryed a mana Enchanter, but it was so boring, No nukes, a useless pet, a speed buff (comes baseline via 1.51) and a pbaoe, and some debuffs later on,

I tryed a Ice Wizard, got him to level 17, before quitting of being sick of people not haveing a clue what pbaoe was...

So what my Question is, What caster class, has lots of diffrant spells, I so far read about the mentalist, Sounds intresting,

And also a mana Eldritch, I like pbaoe, i find it a nice spells when you got the group, but i also like haveing more spells that just that, I never got a caster to high level, and would like to.

So Out of the mentalist and Eldrich, What class is Welcome to Groups, and also have the abltiy to solo (not be super at soloing, but be able to) And have wide range of spells, rather than just pbaoe :/

Thats All Can anyone put some spec's up for me with a reason why

personally i find the baseline nukes are good enough most of the time. atm my chanter is at l31, and is specced i think 30 mana, 6 light\enchantments. the mana-line heat debuff makes the baseline light nukes hurt a hell of a lot

Easy one?

Light mentalist, got uber ae dd, ranged UBER dd, ok dot (light spec), GREAT HOT and POT, orange pet to have amusement r v r, mez, HEAL, and ae dot. Still welcome to group if u spec higher mana and mentalism but GODLIKE soloing just after enchanter light spec... well even IMO.

Mana eldritch, u can solo pretty well in 1.52, u got pbaoe, ranged DD, ranged AE DD, ae str/con debuff, ae disease (3 min 400 radius to annoy), nearsight, mez (both small due to less light spec), a useless bolt.

Both r quite interesting and if I were u I´ll make a light mentalist, much funnier. BTW a mentalist with mana regen 3 is always useful.

Im specced 36 mana / 35 light / 18 mentalism. And that makes me charm lvl 50 pet's easy because my light lvl are higher with itams, and the second best AOE DD. The 36 mana gives me PoT 4 >Good for manaregen when charm is on< and second best AOE DoT. For the DD i use the baseline one, because i like the 2 sek cast time. It maybe does a little less dmg, but faster cast time is good when u have a nice little Alb in front of u, just standing there waiting for u to kill him for those lovely 9 sek ur stun lasts

Ok, tama, youve been watching me kill weeweres waaaay to much

Anyway, a light mentalist more or less have only one thing until you reach high levels(charm isnt very usable til about lvl 35+) and that is a nuke. Nothing else, you got stun too, but that doesnt count.

The thing tho, is that you just need to spec a teeny bit into mana and ment to get all the spells from there too(altought somewhat weak) that still works at low spec, which gives you a really big arsenal by almost only speccing light

I love my AE DoT

People think it is weak, doesn't compare to other AE..

I'm happy to be the only guy usually with such high level DoTs

Both classes are welcome in groups. I might be wrong here but I think pbers are a bit more desired since fast exp can't be aquired without them. On the other hand, Mentys are a bit more usefull and versatile in PvP.

To make a long story short, both classes are a good choice.
