Question on farming scales

I have a Bone Army BD (No ML9) and a shaman BB. What is the best way to farm scales? I've tried reds and they occasionally drop clusters, however it seems best to kill 4+ blue drakulv werewolves.

Is there a certain spot which is best to farm solo?

goto lair.. close to the dragon is an entrance to laby.. nice spot of reds there to farm with ba specc boney

in grimspound at cave they sell the armour and wpns but think for gems used to get for glass,

theres trishy or whatever near the big fountain in camalot used to sell the gems for the armour she now sells items like cloth cap and more for scales or at least did on ywain
