Hiya

Server just went down for minor maintenance just after we killed the Prince . When I log back on I will probably be alone apart from Princey and his mates , my guess is I'm within agro range too . Now what I want to know is , if I jump into the chasm , will I end up at bind spot and lose xp , or end up at bind spot with no xp loss ? Thanks for any replies :) If its xp loss , gonna solo the Prince hehe :) :)

You'll get XP loss by jumping, I believe.

Try using the ladder? ;)

I actually fell top to bottom last night and ended on 0.00001% HP below the Hibs Prince chamber...so I suppose if you fall, its just a matter of knowing where to land. You may be safe if you aim for one of the ledges on the opposite side of the chasm from the Prince where the ladders are. We didnt cop any aggro on those. You may lose the aggro from the Chosians by putting some distance between yourself and them with a long fall. Everything is at the experimental stage at the moment.

However...if you crashed near the Prince I suggest you put your head between your legs and kiss your XP losing ass goodbye ;)

at the moment you cannot die from one singular fall iff you have full health :p max falling dmg s 99% tho if you fall in stages or not at full health you will die :p

I'm sure that in the 1.49 patch notes I read that a very long fall in a dungeon will result in death no matter what your health is.

Lol, I have watched people disprove the "cant die in a single fall" theory.

If yer high enough you die in many cases, the test is simple go to the tower outside sauvage (If you happen to be a Alb) and jump from the top, I can die 100% of the time with full health, as can other people in our guild.

We did a sequence of Bungie jumps without the bungie and all the heavies died big stylie, however some of the cloth wearers were fine as wear some clerics.

It does tend to be class specific.

Well considering ive jumped off the top point of snowdonia castle(yes the very highest point u can jump from higher than any tower) and only taken 99% damage would suggest u can't die from 1 fall.
If u say u can then it hasnothing to do with height, maybe a bug or u didnt have full life maybe?

but then, snodownia castle isn't a dungeon (or is it? doen't sound like one, but I'm a hibbie, so might be wrong:p ) and the patch notes specifically says that long falls in DUNGEONS will result in instant death.

still, death by prince or death by, well, rock. it all depends on which grave is easiest to reach!
