Hi,

I'm new (I'm starting today) but i am very confused by all the different servers that are about! I don't know which one to join and what the difference is, are some more full than others or what? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out :)

Join Prydwen, choose Midgard.

(try to) Enjoy!

Mostly different language servers. If you want to play on an English speaking server then play Prydwen or Excalibur ... Excalibur has more players on it but this isn't necessarily a better thing in my opinion.

Camlann is for all languages (supposed to be English but hard when all of Europe plays it) but it is a purely PvP based server so only go there if you like constantly fighting people.

I'll leave realm decisions all to you :)

Midgard:

Dark, gloomy realm, with different kinds of races. Troll, Kobold, Norse and Dwarf.

It's based around the norse mythology.

I tend to get depressed by the gloominess.

Hibernia:

very bright and fairy-tale'ish.

Races are Elf, Lurikeen (can you say garden knome?), Celt and Firbolg (giant'ish type of thingy). Not precisely sure what its supposed to be based on. but its very green.

Looks alot like a golf course.

Albion:

Something in-between. has snowy areas, green areas, gloomy forest etc. races are all human; Saracen, Highlander, Briton, Avalonian.

based on Arthurian myths, with Camelot and all its shiny knights.

Currently, midgard has a slightly higher population than midgard, with hibernia being 3rd and smaller (this is on Prydwen. dont know about Excalibur).

All has its ups and downs - it comes down to what you prefer :)

Good luck, and welcome to Dark Age of Camelot :D

It's based on Celtic mythology, hence leprechauns, sidhes and formorians all over the place..

Most people would admit to joining Hibernia just because they usually play Elves in games normally.

Unless you're a half-life lamer and like to be with people named Trinity, Neo, Morpheus, Leet, Haxor, and so forth, play on Prydwen! Prydwen is (supposed to) be a bit more mature. The players anyway.

Looks like you forgot to add Immortal to that list :p

If you want to dress badly and prefer brawn over brains, go Midgard.

If you want to look good, talk big... and wet your pants at the first sign of danger, go Alb.

If you always wanted to go to Disneyworld, but never had the time... go Hib.

Join Hib (and the rest of the cry-squad). They need all the help they can get.

Well i've read this thread and another and mostly got people paging me saying i should spec 40 this 30 this and 20 the other which is kind of.. confusing!

But one last question, i would like a character who is more of a solo character cause i usually make a group character who can heal people and all sorts but never find a group.. :( I was thinking of someone who had lots of 'buffs'? but are they just for use on other people or what? :/

If you like to solo go with a Spiritmaster (Midgard) A Cabalist (Albion) or a Enchanter (Hibernia) :)

Stop badmouthing Hibernia, you punks. ;)

Hibernia is based on Irish/Celt mythology... and does look a little like a golf course.

But only because we are nobs and try to be distinguished ladies and gentlemen.
*wants a Kobold as caddy*
