Question for Requiel

Hi Requiel.
I've noticed recently that freddyshouse have started advertisements at the bottom of every thread page recently on the Dark Age Of Camelot forums.
I also noticed that 2 of these advertisements were a Platinum sales store, and a Daoc cheats/exploits store.

With Goa linking to freddyshouse on the official webpage, i was wondering exactly what Goa's views were on freddyshouse advertising cheats/exploits sellers? Is this not promoting exactly what we are all trying to cut out of the game?

Don't be so judgemental, FH is in a bind at the moment and has to fund the hosting some how, google ads generate a reasonable income and it is just unfortunate this the people incharge at FH haven't had a chance to get google to filter the ads yet. If they can get them filtered they will, if not the we will just have to live with it, personally I don't see the problem though as the people who want to buy plats will do so anyway, banner ad or not.

Its just bad manner from GOA to not financially support atleast a little bit, FH has been doing their work for quite a while now instead of them having to run their own forums, same as in the US where Mythic atleast has some kind of deal with the Vault Network ;/

PM or post on the Feedback section of the Freddyshouse General forums and Deebs will start filtering out the offensive URLS.

agree to 100%, why can't goa do shit like mythic? fix xml's, fix forums, support, omgpls
