It looks like I won't have game/net access, so I won't be playing for the coming 2 months at least. Hopefully play when I get back home, but i'll likely be busy. Then it's off again to uni ... so unless I can manage to find a room with net connection, I'm gone

Find a better uni My uni had 10Mbit connections in every dorm room for 7 euros a month

Yeah I had the same problem when I started Uni here (Swansea). The brochue said "Internet access point in every room", turned out to be a NTL line with all 0800/0845 numbers blocked forcing to pay 1p/min for access. I was spending about £30/week playing EQ (not much of a socialiser).

I basically walked out of that place and got a room in a private student house. Got my phone line hooked up with AOL as an ISP and things were back to normal.

This year I'm renting my own flat with ADSL, it'll be tough for money but worth it.

I think the halls of residence were like a test. They were telling me to give up playing online games and get a social life....
