from: Duskwood Lothissi's Crossbow

Magical Ability
Effect: Disoriented

Target is disoriented. They have less chance
of landing melee attacks, and spells have a
greater chance of affecting them.

Melee-to-hit penalty: 5%
Resist piercing penalty: 10%

Target: Targetted
Range: 500
Duration: 15 sec
Casting time: 2.0 sec
Damage: Spirit

does the resist piercing penalty lower the all the resistance by 10% or only magic resists or something else? if it lowers the magic resists or something else does legendary weapons hit for more dmg on the 'debuffed' target?

since it's on a weapon it should be the same thinga as immolated bow, reducing the physical pierce resist.not sure if it reduces armor resists or buffed resists.

Love that

immolated bow has this proc btw:
Magical Ability:
Function: resistance decrease

Decrease the target's resistance to the listed damage type.

Resist decrease Thrust: 5
Target: Targetted
Range: 500
Duration: 15 sec
Casting Time: 2:0 sec
Damage: Cold
it says on the proc its a decrease thrust resist proc it doesnt on the proc from the xbow
if allakhazam is right ofc ;p

Disoriented: Target is disoriented. They have less chance of landing melee attacks, and spells have a greater chance of affecting them.
Melee to-hit penalty: 10%
Resist piercing penalty: 10%
Target: Targetted
Duration: 1 min
Casting time: instant
Radius: 350
Damage: Body
This spell is cast when the item is used.
hmm indeed only the melee to-hit penalty is 5% higher

Shame the bow is so slow otherwise it would be fairly decent.

for the 'spells have a greater chance of effecting them' - part do legendary weapons do more dmg? or is it a chance to resist debuff?

Rub the movie you have in your comment, what game is that? I have never seen it before

And I would think that the proc gives spells a higher chance of piercing resistance, i.e you get 10% chance to ignore the enemies resistance with a spell

lol. my oblivion video, the game is: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion ofc!!

so that means legendaries get an increase in dmg too? :p
edit: im only interested in legendarys, not spells cos when do u ever use a spell on an armsman lol?only the champ dot for interupting maybe
