why do most templates have 85 quickness

i mean, i tought 250 quickness was cap

and with 10% melee speed bonus and haste from druid, why have 85 quick then ??

u can add only 100 max qui to ur template. they use 85 couse its hard to cap everything 100 if not impossible.

that 100 qui only counts for what u get from ur template. u add ur qui from ur char to that and u get mybe 250(buffed mybe more)

if i wrote something wrong here please do correct me!!!!

Qui over 250 lowers ur styted dmg but doesn't increase ur weapon speed.

dunno increasing evades or maybe calculating the fact that they have to rely on lower buffs or smth

Useless gimpage imo as dex increases ur evade in the same way as qui and it doesn't lower ur dmg.

PS. But most melee classes would find 85 (or even 101 qui) in SC kinda handy :)
I.e. my zerker has 80 qui in SC and it's 223 qui overall (50qui dorf). But in fact i cannot afford more qui into SC unless i sacrifice other stuff.

I haven't seen any definetive testing about that, but swingspeed gains from more qui ( an thus more DoT) stop at 250. So lots aim for 250 qui fully buffed or however much qui it is possible to include in your suit without gimping other stuff.

As for qui over 250 decreasing style damage while leaving swingspeed the same, that's utter BS.
Style damage is only affected by your actual swingspeed. Since more than 250 qui doesn't affect your swingspeed, it also doesn't affect style damage.
