I downloaded this to try it out, but how do you access the Ethinarg Item database
it says you need a name and password

it says you need a name and password You don't need an account
Ethinarg's Workshop --> Click downloads on the left
Just double check the stats when using items from it, I've found quite a few to be slightly off (dragon items especially)
