Quest: Lost Gem of the Dwarven King

Did anyone complete this quest? I came so far as to the part where I've killed Ornulf, Pumice, Basalt and Obsidian. All I need to do now is find that chest (Journal says something like "follow the map to find the chest" - and I have used the map). The chest is suposed to be in one of the crevices down in the crater, to be precise - in the crevice at 21k, 46k. As I jump into that crevice it says something like "You being searching for the chest" and then... nothing. I tried the other crevices in the crater but none even has the same text.

Any clues, suggestions, hints?

Not sure if its much help, but one of the cleric epic quests requires you to 'look for a key' in a cave. This actually requires you to enter the cave, and find the exact fooking pixel spot that the key is meant to be on. If you're like 0.1 cm out, it won't register, and you have to keep looking :/ Prolly not much help, but might just need to run around a bit more to find the spot

when it says u begin searching the crevese or whatever just keep running up and down it
ive done this quest twice now and first time took about 10 minutes of "searching" it says the message in the text window
the second time took about 15 seconds

i think its towards the centre of the crater area of the crevace/gash/minivolcano thing that u are in, about 2/3rds along it

when u find it use the keys in the order in the journal then pop the neckie on and hey presto some crappy low UV lvl 46 gem that will instanlty be replaced with the rather nice Lost maps 14%slash/thrust/crush/cold/body 200hp insta RR10 uber gem

I know 2 ppl that have spent ages searching that area just recently that completed it before and spent hours searching for the box and not finding it .. just getting the searchin msg....

One has done a rightnow request ... still waiting on the results

Did it with a group we all entered the Crevace at same time First guy found it instantly, then 30 seconds later next 30 seconds after him then me 8 mins later
Seems clicking and moving around worked for one where standing still and clicking worked for the other and the 3rd sais he just moved around and did not click ..
So i think it is like the other search area quests blind luck.....
