Quality issue when i record on fraps

Hi im been wanting to make my own movie the only problem is the text is not very readable,i use half-size and 25fps on my settings and i've also tried it at full screen but the text is still not very good.
my graphics card is not that good i use a ati radeon 9000.is there anything i can do or should i just abandon any idea off makeing a movie?
