I used to play a lot of Quake 1 and Team Fortress on Wireplay years ago.

My main name was Ron, chosen because in my early days I used the Ronald McDonald quake skin and had a memorable time when one guy kept screaming "kill the fucking clown!!!".

TF was my fave though, especially playing the engineer. I loved placing sentry guns in sneaky places I do get tempted from time to time to reinstall Q1 and TF just to set up another sentry turret and watch it gun down ppl but I don't imagine there are any dedicated servers anymore

I use to play ra3/tdm/ft versions of q3 but haven't the time now but I still play q3ctf for xpd. I play as xpd>inq in q3. See sig for daoc names/servers.

Had some silly starwars-nick (Obi-Wan) cause I were 14 and played in a starwars clan (dm), then I started playing tf instead and joined Vallasherra and later DBD.

Never really got into quake, Altho i loved TFC. Played it when it first was out and for bout 2years after.

Loved sniper and map 2fort rocks

Quake3 ra3 for me. Started off with SOH, but they were non-competitive..moved to No Compromise, then finally onto Anarch3.

Me btw, I started off in NQ and QWCTF in clans TBF, ASQ, BSE, then moved to Q3CTF and started Clan E. Now i'm retired from all that and just waiting for a new good game, in the mean time thinking about those good old days of quake

Haven' t played Q1 as my pc was too crappy :d but I did play Q2 (ra, ctf), Q3 (briefly), HL (but more single player), TFC (as engineer, rocks), a lot of CS (at its early beta stages, before the zillion cheating kids)

In all of them I was known as Brainie, joined a few clans but can't really remember em

And yeah, grappling hooks beats all

I know most of the XPD bunch, Inqy Jazz etc as well as Tom.

When I first started playing DAOC about 2 years ago now, all the Expedient Demise guild was Q3 players, basically XPD & PR (Phoenix Rising).

Don't see too many about these days though

still play it from time to time on jolt servers anoying snipers n such... cant ever get any GOOD games on publics.. apart from 2 servers i know.. but i just dont play it enough i blame daoc

I also was one of the serveradmins for shrimpwars (belgian gaming league)

edit: this was in the time when =58th= just quitted, and [DW] ruled the scene

I played with a few a3 guys in RA3 cant remember half of their names, one was Baboon or something, something to do with a monkey anyway, and i remember ajeroth killing me on the BW servers only played ra3 for about 1 month then got fed up with being owned
