My company's corporate network has blocked access to forums.barrysworld.com, but not forums.game.net! AHAHAHA GET WITH THE TIMES, COMPANY!

Not a problem anyway as I'm a network engineer and can bypass the proxy server. AHAHAHA GET WITH THE TIMES, COMPANY!

Same as! Just recently. I could access ok if I went through forums.barrysworld, but since it went game.net, it's no go :/

Sounds like they rely on some reference database if lots have been blocked at a similar time.

Do what I partly do, setup your XP PC at home to accept remote desktops and allow your home router to accept access on Port 3389 then go to here to access a remote desktop front end enter your home PC IP address and your in!

I'm guessing its a filter. Most filter certain keywords like GAME or games. That'd be your answer./

of course that will only work if your browser is configured to allow objects/plugins to be installed, which many corporate networks do not.

You could of course just use this to connect to the remote desktop machine

My work seems to inexplicably block all words pertaining to pr0n. I cant even type my town name (S****horpe) into google without getting a written warning.

Games are OK though
