now that my inf is very close to dinging the big 50, i just wonderd is it even possible to compete in rvr with no artifacts/ml abilities? i dont have time to camp arties/level them up and there for i have to do with a modified SI template.

If it is possible then, cool

but if not, is there a template using little artifacts as possible that dont take long to get or level up?

Definatly possible 1 of my guildies Excorcist has managed to compete very well for the last 2-3 months wearing rogs and his old Thid SC kit

Think he made around 70k last week

Can be worth looking for some nice non artifacts on the merchants.

Certainly my Paladin gets more benefit from a axe and shield which proc nice ablatives than from his artifacts. The equation may be different for an Infiltrator, though.

just before NF-release my inf had a pretty nice template, but still no artis. Played with 2 heat LW's and a cetus cloak, rogs and some crafted 99% qual gear

Get belt of sun, its prob one of the easiest artis to get and it levels pretty fast compared to alot other artis.

Then you can use the summoned wepons, they have 2% weapon speed, melee damage and style damage + a pretty nice DD with debuff.

And no, you dont have to be uber loaded with artis and ML's....but it help now a days

Well, belt of the sun isn't as fast anymore, sadly. Used to train anywhere 50% of the time, now only trains in Mainland SI. Still, you can always get one and finish your levelling there.

I'd be tempted to try some cold (for tanks) and heat (for stealther) legendary weapons. They both have the same stats, so are interchangable in templates, and you can always put similar stats on crafted weapons for people vulnerable to neither.

trust me, you DO need arties.
ml is fun too(like ae poison mezz), but yes you can manage without mls.

my inf is 3l8, he has an mp set of SI sc, with everything capped, including 1 good legendary main hand weapon, tried various specs and he's crap. not in stealth zerg of course but i hate those. e.g. an rr2l0 inf with fully toa sc wtfpwned me in a duel even if I PAd him.. get cap increases, and dmg %'s or you dont have a chance.

If you're gonna play with no artis, use LW's not crafted. They make a huge difference, if you dont use arti weapons you really should be using LW's. Tbh LW's make a greater difference to damage than an arti can.
