QCast Bugged?

Not a whine a genuine question , is quickcast bugged for anyone else
5 times this morning (everytime i used it) i would get please wait 1 second to use spell repeatedly rather than the spell going off resulting in it not going off at all in the end
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same?

Its mainly been against vamp's so i duno if its just me being dim and them geting a ability to foil it

not really my friend but im getting alot of trouble with Facilit Painworking (level 4 necro spell that alows pet to cast twice in the duration) duznt work wen pet is on passive which sucks coz if i put him on defensive he runs into spawn getting me killed at gobbos lots...and this is a whine

Get that as well, but thought of it as me being alb noob and doing things the wrong way...

And also had some troubles doing QC on my SM now when I start to think of it.

having qc bugs on bainshee. where it is stopping me qcing saying i need to wait to cast spell even though i shouldnt be Oo

qc always says "need to wait 1s" if you've had a cast interrupted just before you use it...

probably a vamp using their ranged manatap to interrupt.

it always does this when you are on passive

you need to be on defensive, wait till the pet strikes the mob and do FP half a second after he hits teh mob

if a necro casts his absorb on someone then quickly puts pet on passive (b4 spell is finished), if he does this too soon the pet wont cast the spell. if you use FP and your pet is passive he justs stands there

Usually happens to me also when playing Animist, anyone know when you use QC you are supposed to cast slower? when ever i use it on Animist compared to normal nuking with lifetap it casts very slow :S

I beg to differ from that

You can use FP (necro QC) at any time, just need to press it with speakers turned up (and music not out to loud) wait for the sound effect (Boom like sound) and then press cast = 2 x pbaoe while on passive...

Qcast has a hard timer so will always cast at that speed for double the power usage regardless of dex and toa bonuses

isnt it wonderful? It's proof GOA and mythic have fucked the game up when bugs as old as the hills get new threads
Don't use an instant spell after you press QC, it will QC the insta for double power and use up QC rendering you actual timed spell interrupted and you probably dead. The interrupt code sucks - get used to it. The QC spell is pretty crap anyway and with uber maxed out toa and dex and RAs and stuff you can sometimes just cast anyway because its so quick (especially with quick spells like amnesia and such).

Aye. Only class that by-passes the 'hard' speed is the necromancer.

Yup found QC very strange on Bainshee, quite often it would just not bother to cast at all even though I'd mashed the button.


You can cast a qc spell with no mana as well (for noobs)
