Ok , I have 2 chars , one on Pryd and one on Excal.

both named gamblor =).

However when i make a change to one 1 bar on 1 of the Char's it f00ks up the other ones.

Example.

Gamblor (Champ) has all his moves set out.

I then log in ( after the 1 hour cool down time) into excal

Gamblor (Friar) qbars are all over the shop and i have to redo everyone.

A few days later i'll log on my champ again and his qbars are all over the shop , hence i redo them , i log into excal and my friar's qbars are metal.

Anyone able to help ?

I know it's prob a n00b think , but i wouldn't know as i'm not a n00b :p

You can make a copy of your gamblor-20.ini file in your DAOC foler... rename it gamblor-20friar.ini and another for your Champ setup and save to gamblor-20champ.ini

And then copy them back to gambor-20.ini depending on what character you want to play...

This file will get overwritten every now and again with all the latest qbar setups etc... as the characters have the same name it gets overwritten.

Three ways to solve it.
1: Send in a request to RightNow and we'll change one of the character names so the .ini file doesn't get overwritten.
2: Copy your main game install folder. Use one client to log into Pryd and the other to log into Excal.
3: Make a prydbackup folder and an excalbackup folder and copy your Gamblor-33.ini file to each after logging into that server and setting up qbars. When you want to play the other server, copy the gamblor-33.ini file from the relevant backup folder into your main game folder.

Cheers for the replys =).

I'll say i'll go along with Req's idea.

I'll write a ickle batch file so it will do all the copying stuff , then i just click on the Icon and launch Daoc =)
