q3a Urban Terror TC

Does any one know if any gaming mags in the uk, have realeased this TC on there demo cd because i really can't download it on my 56k connection its 2 big ?

Not that I know of

Its a bit of a bugger getting any Q3 mods onto a magazine CD as the magazine have to write to ID to gain permission.

As far as I know I havent heard of Q3UT being placed onto a magazne yet.

Its worth the download as its hella fun and the new beta is just around the corner (beta 2.4).

Im sure one of the forum peeps or Oswald (a member of the development team) will give you a hand.

Im the Liason for the Barrysworld Q3UT servers so get downloading.

Alot of Q3UT regulars run the www.deadllamas.net website so if you feel like messing around with some bitter old regulars drop in there.

Ryan, are you on am unmetered ISP? With a program like Getright(someone else give linkee), downloading overnight is a great way to get large downloads without culling your online time. I actually downloaded the 2 RH Linux CDs this way, the 2 of them combined are 1.3gigs

I've just woke up at 7:20 and its bin downloaing for about 8 hours now, Its 80% done which is 100mb. Another 3 hours download time when i get in from college should it.

Ryan - If you are still having problems let me know, i'll burn it onto a CD along with some other Q3 mods (if you want) and send it your way. I bought 200 CD-R's before xmas (got a 2 for 1 deal) however i haven't had much use for them other than to backup "stuff" .

Its allright Bigfoot i've got it working perfect, i have to say Urban terror is one of the best TC's i've ever played.

Can't wait to put it on the college network !!!!
