playing q3a i get delay firing a wepon another word is when

i fire a rocket it comes out half a second later.
single player works perfect I GET NO PROBS PLAYING TFC CS ONLINE

Yes, it is called lag.

When searching for a server try to choose one with the LOWEST ping. The higher the ping the higher the lag. The ping is in ms and this is the time it takes for data to travel from your comp to the server and back. Generally servers close to you will have a lower ping. The reason why you don't get this in single player is because you are effectivly the server so data doesn't have to travel.
