Q3A Brightness

I'm trying to get Q3a working on me works PC and installed it. It's a DELL GX110 with an onbaord Intel 3d card. When I go into the in game video option the brightness slider bar is greyed out and I can't adjust it? and it's darker than a dark thing

see what r_ignorehardwaregamma is set to in q3config.cfg.

if it's set to 0, change it to 1 and try r_gamma 1.4 and play about with the gamma level til it looks ok.

also try messing about with r_intensity

don't forget to vid_restart after you make changes
