q3 wont connect. plz help

Hi there

i have just upgraded my quake 3 to patch Q3PointRelease_127g.exe
then upgraded to Q3PointRelease_127h_BETA.exe
but everytime i connect and it takes a snapshot it disconnects takes me back to the menu, its mainly the barrysworld servers that i am trying.

u got the correct version of osp ,i think that could cause probs

Make sure you have

cl_allowdownload 1

set. That will ensure you download any needed osp stuff from the BW servers.
