Okay, after seeing this revelation (*grins*) I'm curious to see how ppl will set Q3 up for net play?

1024 Stencil buffer shadows Graphics wh0re or 320 picmip fps junkie?

I am guessing a bit of both. I guess Dynamic lighting and decals with get ticked off very quickly by everyone and simple items used. As for picmip not sure about this since alot of systems can get decent fps with just those parts above.

Insanely high picmips will probably be used by the 'l33t3r' players i guess much like it started that way in qw. After time configs start being released and people copy others etc.
