q3 is a LAN game - even 30 ms sucks

yes that's right - q3 is best played on a LAN with under a max of 10 ms of ping. i am not saying you can't have fun with 30 ms of ping or even be l££7 , you can rape hpb's you lame fuckers, well you can have fun with 200ms as long as your netgraph is flat. thing is over 10 ms sucks ( 10 ms is a very high ping) and you will never do the same stuff you can do on localhost with a ping of over 10ms.

True, The HPB's do get raped including me thats why I am asking for one.

But it is still fun playine with lpb's but it would be nice to play at the level of other hpb's for once.

The feeling of inertia (in movement) and weapons lag (inaccuracy) from a high ping are a right royal pain in the backside.

Best played on a LAN with 10ms ping? Well of course.

Lag is easier to live with when you play with ppl around your own level / connection. Someone to test you and then congratulate you when you play well.

Playing with the same crowd and helping each other improve is fun.
