q3 ctf classic .. binds

like exec other configs so as not to
f*** up my q3 config
and also do a grapple + attack thing
have only played cctf twice.

do you not think we need some new q3
ctf maps.

Solution???

1) Get the alliance mod - contains 12 of the best CTF maps you'll find - awesome radio sounds - if you've played LMCTF its that wiht bells on.

2) Go and post on the game servers forum saying how you really want a server at BW
(I know the beta wasn't popular but as more and more peeps get geforcey goodness I think these bells and whistles Q3 mods are really gonna take off)

"1.) New customizable +/- commands: bind any key to +pm0 thru +pm9. Set the down/up action strings
in pm0d / pm0u thru pm9d / pm9u

Example: '/set pm4d "weapon 10;wait;wait;+attack"' '/set pm4u "-attack;wait;weaplast" '/bind g +pm4'

This will make it so when you press 'G', you switch to the grapple and fire. When you let go of 'G', you will disconnect the grapple and automatically switch back to the last weapon you were using."

Pulled out of the CCTF readme

I'd copy your Q3 autoexec and rename it to cctf.cfg as an example and add stuff in there.

The CCTF team are working on some new maps.

IF you prefer the autoswitch style, you may also want to give Alliance CTF a try which has offhand grapple and 12 new maps, so you don't have to switch grapple in the same way.

i have played
classic ctf on the net and it worked
but now it will not work
i can play it on my local machine
i can connect to barrysworld cctf server
but it keeps jumping of the server and back to the cctf main menu
this is if nobody is on the server or if ppl are on the server
in fact this is the case for all cctf servers
using gamespy to connect or the on-board q3a thing
reinstalled cctf and it's the same
have all the cctf servers
been set for lpb's only

Firstly make sure u have the up to date beta 99c, not the old ones. If you have downloaded 99c, you MUST delete the old beta first (keep any configs u made tho), i.e. copy yer configs, delete the cctf folder and install 99c. That should sort out any problems.
