q3 1.25 back to 1.17

I recently updated my Quake3 version to 1.25 then 1.25y. Unfortunately This means that you can no longer play any mods for the game. NOw how on earth would you go about reverting to v1.17. This task is very hard believe me I am still trying to get the game back to what it once was. Any help would be appreciated!!

Delete q3 dir back up all ur configs and mods and reinstall q3 then patch it 2 1.17..... =)

No, just delete pak4 and install the 1.17 patch.

As i understand it, the person had already tried that Coma.
Prolly best simply spending time stripping out binds and graphical info from config plus the mods and REMOVING the rest. No alternative really but the hard way.
