To some people Killmachine was a gentle person. A great friend, good at Quake, and fantastic HTML skills.
BT however didn;t see it that way. They thought Killnachine was an evil man and decided to kill him. One day, out of the blew his phone line was cut off and we lost access to the friggin site and lost our webmaster!!!!

Anyhow, with a bit of work we are now all hunky dorey again and the site has relocated to http://hosted.barrysworld.com/q2battleuk
It worked last time I checked and the signup thing is also working fine.
We should now be sorted for signups for season 1, which will *hopefully* start at the beginning of August.

Erm, most of the pages are just examples of how it will look and the news is more admin related than vital info. So it'll mean nothing to you lot. It should be sorted by the time you read this though.... maybe.

OK, it does work now.
We may be taking more lcans for season 1, duno yet. Deprnds if we can support a 3rd division or not.
However, I will put up the list of clans so far accepted tonight in possible divisions. If you have any major complaints about the divisions then please email us @ q2battleuk@barrysworld.com
If you think you too good or not good enough then tell me and it will be amended. a clan cannot be moved up unless another wishes to move down.
OOO, school puters in 16 colours... nasty nasty.

OK people listen up!
We can only take 2 more clans MAX for the first season - and this is assuming that we can suppoert 3 divisions first time around.
For those who have already registered and have assumed we've died since, expect some email through soon with infomation regarding the league and the divisions
As I say, the divisions are simply for the purpose of puting all the clans together in front of us and are only semi-permenant, If you have a major gripe about it then email me. Ideally with some proof that you are better/worse than your current placement.

note that the divisions were generally random - with clans with more players and which were more famous going to the top. Eg, I did it - I know very little about total clan standards as most of our opposition never turns up.

Just a general post to let people know the league is under control and should be about soon as far as we know. The site should be completed quickly, and we have stuck with the same site - due to people liking the simple no frills design that is easy to navigate

Full marks gratiously recieved Kryten.
right, now some more stuff on the divisions:
This is the system:
3 divisions
8 teams in each

This is still not reflected in the website so don't go about panicing. Also - If anyone knows how to make 18 odd clans fit into 14 spaces then please tell me. And then retake your maths GCSE or A-level.

The website should be all go by Sunday night latest - then andy can make uo some fxtures for you all and then we'll let you blow each others brains out for an hour each.

BTW - if anyone fancies sponsoring the league (and have your name plastered on the skins) then email andy and give me some money.

Right, I've worked out a way to solve the problem.
we'll have 9 per division instead. MEans tat you'll either get a week off every now and then or you'll play twice

IPX, NC and that clan Kryten joined for a few days.. (don't worry I can remember the name really, just a running joke with Kryten

ok , the ruling on LPB's is simple ,(if you read the rules), 1 LPB per 3players , max 6 players = 2 LPB's , however if each team has the same amount of LPB's 4 for example then yes you can use 4 LPB's .

We NEED more admins desperately!!!
Until we have decent amount we CANNOT start. Yes, all the clans in the league will have wasted their time filling in that strenuous sign up form for nothing.... well, hmm.

Reasons to be an admin:
1) Get to see class clans (like GA

2) Get to see class clans (like GA

) play in q2BattleUK
3) Learn server commands
4) See 1 + 2
5) We are nice people, do us a favour here

yeah, so we're alittle on the desperation side here but trust me, I'm just liek a doctor.

On the basis that Ronb rarely seems to appear in the chat rooms (working?? fat chance) I will kinda lay things out here:

We now have about umpteen million versions of the website dotted about on the web..... erm not sure why.

Rob is working on asp code (apparently) for http://www.q2battleuk.com and we all think it;s cool. mainly cause we get our own domain and we can host clans etc on it... and I can stop worrying about about having to update everythgign by hand. then again...

However, the current up-to-date site is http://hosted.barrysworld.com/q2battleuk
which is exactly the ame as the .com address.

We are also now sponsored (by Rob- hmm

) and basically everythign is rosy. We have servers, we have fixtures (ANDY!!!!- please do them soon) and we have 7 or 8 admins which is enough to start on. Exept that we are starting over summer so we will probably all go on holiday together at the ame time.... so we need more of you!!

why have I just written all this? Simple cause until we getsome more admins we cannot start. And if we don;t start soon I may get a bit annoyed.

/me wonders who else in the clan we can get involved without them leaving.....

We actuall yha ve ebough of you to start now (though division 4 could pose some problems)

The only difficulty is that we could do with some from division 1 (none from there yet) cause the ideal is to avoid winging by having people adminning from deifferent divisions. Anyhow, for ht efirst season at least that isn;t going to happen.

Oh BTW - I can't be arsed to make a group of clan leaders in Outlook express (mainly caus it forgot them all yesterday and with alomost 40 of yah all I want to fix it fist)
So to save me mssing with a Huuuuuge email here is the imagfe we'd like you all to have on your websites (if it'll fit - if not then a link would be nice)
