Q2BATTLE LEAGUE

We are in the process of starting a league dedicated to the Q2 TEAM DEATHMATCH scene.The league is called the Q2BATTLEUK LEAGUE,and this fellow fraggers is "THE"league to be in if your clan is serious about Team DeathMatch.

I'll be honest with you, the site isn't finished

I could go on all day explaining why but i won't.

Basically we are constructing the site using Active Server pages, most of the pages are database generated and therefor cannot be done by me, I have someone else doing all the l33t c0d3ing, but if you would like to see what i currently have up then head here: http://www.barrysworld.com/extreme/index.shtm (This is not where the banner takes you btw.

The pages that are up are: Contacts, Rules, Signup (but doesnt submit the form) downloads (but no files) and there may be a few others by the time you get there

It's just an idea but if you put up a link to the site that has the details then people are more likely to go there to find about about the league and are then more likely to sign up.

You could also help us all out by explaining why exactly your league stands out from all the rest ...... after all many clans have extremely full schedules.

After all, surely as it stands atm, the UKCCL is _THE_ league to be in if you're serious about Team DM

As i've said, the whole point in us doing this is to have a better run league, this is the reason behind the idea to start all this.

Also, i believe if we can get plenty of members signing up, it would be worthwile for us to try and offer prizes. More than likely small things at first, but if we do expand more than expected i think 1 or 2 sponsors could well help us provide 'real; prizes.

Another thing is this league is just starting, this will mean the first clans to join will also have the oppertunity to give us valuable feedback on the way this league is run right from the start, so if we listan to the members, we will end up with a league run exactly the way people want it.

I know this all sounds like a stack of bullshit to get perople to join, but i'm pretty serious, i really believe it could take off. So do us all a favour and JOIN

I think I can safely say that the league will continue to develop as it goes to ensure that it is always taken into consideration the needs of those who are taking part, whatever effect this may have upon the admins and their (already somewhat irrational) sleep patterns.

Being the founding father of Grey Area, but having had to leave thanks to those fucking exams, I can happily state that the lads who are organising this league are fully capable of keeping it together, organised, and most importantly, downright fun.

Now I hope that you lot can help us by joining in. Please.
