Q2 Muppets Wanted

The newly formed Clan Muppet seeks reliable, good natured players to add to it's currently small squad.
The clan is atm made up of four players, three of whom are highly experienced in Q2DM, myself a HPB vet (gone cable) just returning to the "fun Q2" from a year of Q3.

Players would have to be of a reasonably high standard, but HPB's are equally as welcome as LPB's.

We will soon be entering the Savage league and starting Friendlies so if you want to get in on it in the beginning now is the time.

Thanks Psych, though I must confess to having moaned at a couple of PS carrying, Quad/CG Whoring LPB's. =]
Despite my now low ping it's the modemer in me.
I like to think of myself as 'modem friendly' as I was on the other end of dodgy LPB's far to often to be hypocritical about it now.

HPB's rock imo.

Comeon lets have some more recruits tho!
We've got 4, and a good cabler candidate from another post elsewhere.
Please restore my faith that the Barrys Q2 Forum ain't just for piss (and counter piss) taking.
Though on that note, Slicer you are a bit of a nob 'mate'

To be very honest, it was something that stole an eye : being as good as I used to be ( ) i'd love to join a new clan to help them up, but to very honest i couldnt not use my own name : i've always had things against not using "usual" nicks when playing, its a moral thing and something I dont want to change, there are a few reasons for this which a lot of people will know about. Otherwise yeah, seen them about, would be good to see it happen.

Hi Kryt, long time no play, not since almost the time of my previous clanning days in Q2. I know what you mean about the aliasing thing, and I do agree with ya.
Thing is though, if you make no secret of the fact that you're using another name (and even what you're old one is) you're not really aliasing imo.

Personal attachment (and identification with) a name is another thing, and I understand if it's that. I was/am the same, but I wanted to fit in with the Muppet ethos.
Believe me my old name was and still is my online persona, it's all I ever was in 2 years of playing.
It's all I was ever known as.
If you knew it you'd know what I mean.

I'll have a chat with Gonzo (head honcho), see what he thinks.
In the meantime is it O.K. if I ICQ you (or mail?) and we can have a chat?
BTW you LPB or HPB atm?
