Whilst perusing through a friend's copy of a popular PC Gaming mag I happened to come across a mod for Q3A which looked fun.
The mod by developer No Escape,called PWRGuns (or Power Guns) have made a cracking one for LAN games etc here
.
It's a simple mod with power added to your weapons to create more carnage than the previous mod Excessive Quake 3.
Your default weapon is a double barrel rocket launcher which is a heap of fun!.
Other 'improvements' include an automatic railgun,a shotgun with explosive pellets,a new plasma-gun and a BFG similiar to the BFG from Q2.
You start with 1000 health and 100 armour so deaths aren't quite as sudden as might have been.

It's only a 1.5Mb d/l so it'll only take a couple of mins to grab it.
Oh yeah,I almost forgot to mention,there's a radar and probably more usefull is the grapple which has to have a key bound to it.
