PvP server Full ? Anoyed with GOA's implementation of the server ?

If you are having problems connecting to PvP due to server load, or invalid account problems, please can you log a proplem on RightNow.

I for one am appauled by the implementation of PvP but understand posting here will get us no where, the more people that complete a RightNow problem, the better chance we have of being listened to.

This is NOT a flame, its just a request for people to express your disapointment through the official channels.

The reason Camlann is full all the time is one thing: "Oooo, new server, me try"

Trust me, in some weeks it will be like Sahara, and I totally understand GOA for not spending cash on another server that will be deserted in a few weeks.

Doubt it. People who "test out" a new server seriously dont play @ night as much as people do now. Ofc people will dissappear after a while, when bigger guilds/active players start to ding 50 and begin to gank people on sight. Besides, German/French people play alot more than US people. Statisticly. Im predicting Camlann will stay rather active for months.

Just speaking from my point of view, I like many other english players have been playing DAOC for around 9 months now.

As GOA seam to like the idea of NOT advertising this game in England i believe that a considerable amount of English players would be considering putting some serious time into PvP.... if they could ! the fact that the servers are constantly full is a major iritation.

I also believe the number of players in PvP will drop below the 3,400 cap within a month or two, but the problem remains... GOA knew how popular this server would be they should have planned something to ease the load at the start. Either a more powerfull server, a cluster or the ability to merge two player databases together in the long run.

In short, i am a paying subscriber, i want to move to PvP as there is nothing left in the normal servers for me, I can't do this because of their poor implementation of PvP.

I know other people feel the same, and all I ask is you post on RightNow about it, thats the only way GOA will realise that there is a problem.

So far I've had a bog standard reply from GOA, which as far as I am concerned is unacceptable. Will let you know more as they days progress.

(which will also hit the server caps if mordred/andred are anything to go by)

are you volunteering to be on that one and have your character/guild/etc deleted in a month when it's as dead as a dodo?

I have never said I want a server just for me - please read the posts properly.

I am just extreamly disapointed over GOA's lack of support here, they know the server would be extreamly popular within the first few months but have done nothing about it.

To cut a long story short, I am paying a company money to use their services... I am unable to connect to there services... they are unwilling to help... I will no longer be a customer.

I think that the only problem is the account invalid message which is an invalid message
Better this way that the server is full.. since it WILL drop in number quite significantly soon enough and then we have one nice and POPULATED PvP server.
I am almost 100% sure that if GOA opens anohter we will have two extremely boring servers with one having the hardcore players and the other with people "who couldn't be arsed to level as much"...

Your compasion is overwhelming, If I treated the people who call the support desk I work on with the same attitude as GOA, I would be sacked.
