Um. From that demo it appears as if the main combat puzzle is almost entirely dependent upon luck. Which is kind of rubbish.

It's like bilging in puzzle pirates only with virtually no strategy.

Is the only puzzle in the game that "make 3 of a kind generic game you can play for free on numerous flash gaming sites" game? That's all I've seen in the demo so far.

Seconded tbh. I found that the computer player suddenly finished me off from half health cos after some random line of 3 he got, all the new pieces that fell in gave him uber bonuses like free turns and x5 Skulls.

You are entitled to your opinion, but the game is like digital crack to me. I'm totally addicted. Once you get a few spells with your character, there are quite a few tactics open to you to avoid random luck making too much of a difference. And if you happen to lose to a big lucky combo, you just fight it out again.

And thats before you get into the training mounts, and researching spells, and forging weapons.

Yeah, it's like... just one more fight.... just one more... ahh only one more to finish this quest. Then you forget you were gonna stop playing.

Agree with JB tbh, it seems to have a little potential but if it's more of the same '3 in a row...' it'll be a bit meh.
