Putting something on google? (HTML)

Lo, i didn't know who to ask this since not many people i know understand HTML.
How does one put something on google, an image that is. I know the basics i just need the tags/command whatever you call it, do it in notepad i presume? Anyway thx

lol thx, I've been reading www.htmlgoodies.com but theres soooo much stuff about HTML, there isnt a section that says ''Put something on google'' So its finding it get a decent response from FH aswell (sometimes)

Searched around a bit, couldnt find much "official" info about it.

I did find this helpful tho http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html I hope you do too

Just so you know, when it comes to google rankings, they ignore most keyword meta-tags so dont bother with them Just make sure your images have appropriate filenames and alt text

Oh that and submitting your page to Google for indexing will help a bunch I'd imagine
