William Shatner has released a cover of Common People by Pulp.

Seriously.

I didn't believe it either, and even after hearing it my mind is still rejecting the notion.

She just laughed... and said... you're so funny...

Weirdest cover evah?

Soooo wrong :(

I know it's wrong, but it just feels so right!

Make sure you also check out his cover of 'Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds'. An absolute classic. Oh, and Leonard Nimoys' 'Ballad of ***** Baggins' is an absolute stormer too.

Edit: B1lbo being zapped by the swear filter?? LMAO

Just get Shatners album. There are some classics on there. It always manages to cheer me up when I'm feeling a little down ;)

I actually enjoyed Rolf Harris's 'Stairway To Heaven'
I deplored Madonna's desecration of American Pie, that was on a par with the poppy version of Baker Street.

iirc it was played by the DJ before the zutons set at V :D

I remember just milling around when it came on. The dawning realisation of what it was. :) it's bizarre to say the least.
