I have to say it sounds more like a shoddy conversion rather than a problem with PS3, fucking annoying for PS3 owners though to be paying full price for a half assed conversion.

100% in agreement, avoid like the plague. If you buy this you are telling Valve/EA/Sony that shoddy ports are acceptable.

To be fair I blame the fat **** Gabe, much like Zoid from the QW days. Absolutely terrible conversion but lest not forget, EA internal developers are about as good as monkeys but some of their studios are doing well, Criterion (Burnout Paradise).

Anyway, avoid like the clap. It was a poor conversion and nothing to do with the capabilities of the PS3.

The orange box was delayed for months because of console releases, it was ready on pc along time prior but had to wait for that difficult to code for ps3 so i say fuckem, Sony are influencing release dates way too much hence gta which is pretty much ready on 360 is delayed yet again because of ps3

It maybe a great console on paper but development times are way too long so yes you'll get quick bugged releases or major delays, just like Assassin's creed which sucked on ps3 compared to 360.

Just like the ps2 it will take years before developers get to grips with it, so in the mean time enjoy your games on pc or 360

360 has made itself a name developers know that they will make more money by making their games for the 360 so its natural they will spend more time and effort.

That would not make much business sence if i was a developer and had PC and 360 Versions ready to go at Christmas i would release them the PS3 version could come when its ready. If its delayed again beacuse JUST the PS3 is not ready thats a retarded move.

I would would buy every game on the PS3 given the choice not because of the money but because I think the 360 controllers are fooking horrible, and would rather game with the 360 ones.

wot makes this more daft and crap at the same time is valve like epic, id and a few other devs who license their engines also make from from other devs using their engine, the others are working on making theirs run fine on the ps3 (epics done great with unreal engine). valve are preety much shooting themselves in the foot and tbh they deserve it

Funnily enough developers have no money, it's the publishers that pay the wage bills, and if they say there's a global platform release then there's a global platform release. I'm sure the developers agree with you, as do i but they don't call the shots

FYI i have Orange Box for the PC not the 360 or the PS3 so this problem does not affect or bother me
