ps2 games that use a light gun

hi,

strange request and first post (in this forum) but a mate has asked me (cos i'm an expert in all things gaming just because i admin a few quake2 servers) about light guns and light gun games.

unfortunately my first recomendation (and the only one i know) resident evil didn't go down brilliantly as he intended it for his son of 6.

can anyone put forward some suggestions for good ps2 games that use a light gun, that are hopefully suitable for a young person. for all i know the resident evil would be fine for a little person - please let me know

also, is there a 'best' light gun that i should be recomending this guy?

A cheaper option would be a SNES, the rocket launcher light gun and a copy of the Yoshis Island type game to play with it. Probably be cheaper than a PS2 game.

However, there is always Silent Scope 1 & 2 for the PS2. Not entirley suitable for kids, but a darn sight better than Resident Evil.

As for the best light gun, no idea. The one I have I tend to fire 2 inches from the screen so I can cheat

Point Blank 1, 2 & 3, would be suitable for a kid. They are PSone games.

Those are the only kiddie light gun games I can think of and you can run PSone games on PS2 anyway

Time Crisis 2 is the only one I can think of offhand. But as far as guns go definitely get the G-CON 2 from Namco.
