PS2 fan dead:/

bleh just as i was enjoying winning 11 me ps2 shut down without warning. it does restart but shut downs again in 2 minutes. after a quick check i found out me ps2 fan is dead.

anyone know where to get a replacement from?

Anyway it is possible to get replacement fans for PS2's. My brother in law's brother in law replaced his with a silent one. Unfortunately he's in Norway so I'm not entirely sure how that helps.

We had this guy return one he'd had for 6/7 months, and was wondering why it wasn't working any more and wanted it replaced.

We opened the box up, and I kid you not, the intake vents on the back of the machine, as well as every crevice and hole on it was caked solid in what honestly looked to be shit.

No air was able to get into or out of the machine, so it obviously wasn't getting cooled sufficiently, hence why it had packed up.

Some people are just too fucking dense to be let out on their own.
