Just purchased the new PS Vita from a Bestbuy store in Seattle, have to say I'm impressed so far. The unit 13 game is excellent. Also have Uncharted and Dungeon Hunter to try out.

Initial impressions, easy to setup and the graphics look very good. I really like the rear touch pad and the controls are very responsive.

Dungeon Hunter? Probably the biggest overpriced game on the Vita its a bag of shit too apprently.

Unit 13 looks good I have to say but still there isn't a single game for the Vita that makes me want to run out and buy one.

There also isn't a great future lineup either from what I've looked at so hope you enjoy a barren release schedule for sometime.

It doesn't upset me at all I was simply voicing why I haven't bought one.

You seem upset though?

Can I ask what drew you to it Hawkwind, I still struggle to find the appeal when my PS3 is sitting downstairs.

My 12 yr old son wanted it for his birthday. I got the console and 4 games now, only played Unit 13 and its pretty good.

:) My son loves that crap game on the PSP, he seems to like any hack and slasher where he can change armour and weapons every 10 minutes. COD is what he will play on it when its released, he loves that game. Same for all his school mates.

There may not be a great initial lineup but the graphics engine is the best I've seen on any handheld so it should do well in the future. They are selling very well in the US. I got the last WiFi only one in the Seattle Best Buy I went to and I had tried 3 stores before that. So if sales do well I presume the games will follow.

I want one, but I can't find a reason to buy it. Maybe because its new and shiny, but unless they drop to the £100 mark I won't be getting one anytime soon. Should have bought one when I was in Malaysia last month, when I had spare holiday cash. Its all gone now though :(
