PS to PC usb converter dongle thingy.

I just got one of these , its so you can use a Play Station controller on your PC (for whatever reason).

The one I got came with some drivers on a floppy, but when you plug it in XP just picks it up as a Human Interface Device and installs with no probs, but, games arent recognising the device (Colin McRae2, Tony Hawks 2 etc). I went into Printers and other devices in Control Panel and tried to install the gamepad, but didnt really have much joy, something installed, but its listed as not being connected.

Any ideas anyone?

Hmm, I have no clue what the answer is, but is it a pad or a wheel you connected up?
I'd quite like to be able to use my PS2 wheel/pedals on my PC sometimes.

well, unluckily for you, I got it from ebay. But you can have it for a tenner
