it would be great if they had events concerning 2 realms like having albions and hibbies having to help 2 factions and war with each other. with the aid of mobs too.

I would like some events tied to Items, in specific UNIQUE items, unique in that there is only 1 of its kind on the whole realm, like the relics, but usable by players.

How fun would it be to own the only Belt of Thor? or something equally as grand?

But how can there be a blackmarket for a single item, there can only be one of them, and they would be quite precious.

This is my first MMO so i know diddly squat bout game economics but I do know D2 and D2X econ was well messed up with the whole SoJ thing

I just saw the UO economy full on buggered up cause of bank sitters people who bought money on ebay, then bought 1337 gear and did nothing but sit at banks posing with their pure black mares, glacial staffs, demon armour, and 1 time rares.

I agree that it might be nice to have personalised items, but they should make them non-transferrable.

nightmares/glacialstaffs/daemon bone armor wernt exactly rare, they were rare to a poor/ok off person, something to keep to a fairly rich person, and nothing but childs stuff to an uber rich person, the real rares cost about 20 times as much, i had a blessed supremely acc kryss of power <didnt cost all that much though, but blessed fencing weap was quite rare>

The most expensive thing I've ever bought in UO was my log cabin in Spiritwood Fellucca. I had a bunch of other stuff - but nothing 'one off'. I was desperate for the big statue, but it was going for upwards of 20 million at one point!!

Solid, have thought of this. Am trying to convince the powers that be to have EXTREME events linked to a single "champion". And with rare...I'm talking like the number of people on Prydwen that carry 100 Mithril.

One other thing...this is part of what we're waiting for with the new patch(es)...database slots to store created items, or something like that (don't know the exact physics of it). So yeah, I'm sure the Event Team have some nice goodies lines up for us.

And YES, most definately NOT transferable. Of course, I could jsut see all the fighting happening over who gets the drop...
