This seems to be a pritty good cleric shield right but they have added a Proc to it. How does the proc work? does it drop when you block something or do you need to base something with your shield, thus making it useless for clerics that cannot spec in shield (um let cleric auto train shield, but not spec in it, theres an idea :) )

It probably is a reactive proc. and the shield is a waste for clerics :|

make a better one with SC :)

Q: How come my applied tincture isn’t working? Is this a bug?

A: Nope! See if this makes sense – there are three different sorts of tinctures that an alchemist can make and apply. Reactive, volatile, and stable tinctures all have different purposes.

Reactive – these are applied to armor worn on the head, torso, arms, hands, legs, or feet. When you are hit in one of those areas, this tincture’s effect has a chance of going off. These do not work when applied to weapons or shields. A reactive tincture is a defensive measure.

About that defensive measure
- There is some confusion over reactive "procs" and shields - shields do not have defensive procs; however they can have offensive procs.

Think this is bugged, reactive proc on my shield works in RvR, not in PvE. And yes, get crafted shield.
