on net_graph 3 that figure top right is ping yeah? it's measured in milliseconds so i assume so.only it differs wildly from the server's estimate sometimes.
occasionally i play on ukonline #1and #2 (sorry luvs) and the ping on the server's list can be as much as 150 or 175 instead of me usual 50-80 , but when i check on net graph it says , like 35-50.
which is closer to being right anyone?
or is it a measure of summat else?

The measure of 50 - 80 is the recorded wing speed of an African sparrow.

The higher number of 150 -175 is the equivalent wing speed of the related European sparrow. The winds being stronger in Europe means that the european sparrow can manage greater speeds over a calm environment.

I take it this has helped answer your question. If not, please feel free to e-mail me at

Okay i'm not sure what exactly the ping on net_graph 3 is showing but, I do know what effects it.

I'm on cable and my pin is 30 ish on scoreboard. When my ping is at this level my ping on net_graph 3 fluctautes between no ping and 4ms. When I am having connection or routing problems my ping on scoreboard may be about 80 and my ping on net_graph 3 will be around 30ms.

Using my newly installed cupmaster 3500 i am now getting pings of around 740 on the scoreboard. I see some people in the games with pings of about 30, apparently they use 'cable' How does watching TV give you a better ping?? This i can't figure out

What do you suggest? Forking out for the new cupmaster 5000? Lol... i think not. Better insulated string maybe. Some of lifes many questions.

Wating for an expert opinion
